F-22가 20,000 마리의 벌떼들의 공격?을 받고 살아 남았다고 합니다. 20,000 vs 1....??
장소가 아주 가까운 곳이고, 아마 저 기체도 날라다니는 모습을 여러번 봤을 듯 한데..
(참고로 Langley AFB는 F- 15에서 F-22로 주력 기종을 바꾼 기지로, 미공군 기지 중 가장 많은 F-22를 보유한
기지 중 하나 입니다. 전투용 보유 기체 전부가 F-22 로 구성된 기지 입니다.)
워싱턴 DC 방어 및 대서양의 유일한 해군기지인 Norfolk 등등의 시설 방어까지 책임지고 있습니다.
기사에는 Joint Base Langley-Eustis 라고 나오는데....Eustis 하고 Langley는 차로 15분? 정도 떨어져 있습니다.
Eutis는 미군의 수송사령부? 라고 할 수 있는 기지로서 전쟁 발발시 가장 먼저 바빠지는 기지 입니다.
거기 모여 있는 별만 해도 한둘이 아니라는..(별을 위해 지은 관사가 수십채라는 소문이...)
