대만, UH-60M 26대 추가도입예정
The Republic of China Army (RoCA) is to receive a further 26 Sikorsky UH-60M Black Hawk utility helicopters modified to Taiwan army and National Airborne Service Corps configurations, it was disclosed on 22 November.
대만육군은 대만 육군과 공수부대를 위해 개량된 Sikorsky UH-60M Black Hawk 26대를 추가로 받을 예정이다.
The sale, which was announced by the US Department of Defense (DoD), will see the modified helicopters delivered to the RoCA by the end of August 2016. Sikorsky has been awarded USD 49.9 million to undertake the conversion work, but the overall value of the helicopters has not been disclosed.
미 국방부에 의해 발표된 이번 판매는 개량된 헬리콥터들이 2016년 8월 말까지 대만 육군에 인도될 것으로 보고 있다. Sikorsky는 개량 작업에 4990만 불을 수주하였지만 헬기 전체 비용은 밝혀지지 않았다.
First revealed by the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) in 2010, the UH-60M sale forms part of a larger requirement for 60 such helicopters to equip the RoCA Army Air Arm (AAA) at a cost of USD 3.1 billion. The first four examples are currently being built by Sikorsky, and will be handed over to Taiwan in March 2014. The contract for 26 more UH-60M helicopters brings the total number now obligated to the RoCA to 30.
2010년 DSCA에 의해 처음으로 공개된 UH-60M 판매는 31억 불로 대만육항대에 인도하기 위해 60 같은 헬기에 더 큰 요구를 한 부분들로 구성된다. 최초생산분 4대는 Sikorsky에서 만들고 있는 중이고 2014년 5월에 대만에 인도될 예정이다. 26대에 대한 추가계약은 대만육군에게 30대의 총댓수를 맞춰줄 것이다.
The DSCA notification released in January 2010 revealed the Taiwan-specific configuration of the UH-60M to include the standard General Electric T-700-GE-701D engines, AN/APR-39A(V)2 radar warning receivers, AN/ALQ- 144A(V)1 infrared countermeasure sets, AN/AAR-57 Common Missile Warning Systems, AN/AVR-2B laser detecting sets, GAU-19/A 12.7 mm Gatling guns, and Po-Sheng Communication/Data Link Systems. In addition, AN/AVS-9 night vision goggles will also be supplied.
2010년 1월에 나온 DSCA 보고서에서는 대만판 UH-60M 사양에는 General Electric T-700-GE-701D 엔진, AN/APR-39A(V)2 레이다 경보 수신기, AN/ALQ- 144A(V)1 적외선대응장치, AN/AAR-57 통상미슬경보장치, AN/AVR-2B laser detecting sets 레이저탐지장치, GAU-19/A 12.7 mm 개틀링건 그리고 Po-Sheng 데이터링크를 포함하고 있다고 나와있었다. 추가적으로 AN/AVS-9 야투경도 보급될 예정이다.
The UH-60M announcement follows on the back of the delivery to Taiwan of its first six Boeing AH-64E Apache Guardian attack helicopters in early November, as is part of a wider revamp of the RoCA AAA's rotary-winged capabilities. Other helicopters operated by the Taiwan army include the Bell OH-58D Kiowa Warrior, Bell AH-1W SeaCobra, Boeing CH-47D Chinook, Bell UH-1D 'Huey', and Bell TH-67 Creek (JetRanger III).
UH-60M 발표는 11월 초에 있었던 대만의 AH-64E 아파치 가디언 공격헬기 6대 초기도입분 인도에 이어 대만 육군항공대의 회전익 전력 개편의 일환이다. 대만육군에 의해 운용되고 있는 기타 헬기로는 Bell OH-58D Kiowa Warrior, Bell AH-1W SeaCobra, Boeing CH-47D Chinook, Bell UH-1D 'Huey' 그리고 Bell TH-67 Creek 등이 포함된다.
